Congratulations if you’ve found a sock monster and happy hunting to the curious. The sock monsters are agents of Friendly-ism and as such aim to spread communication, creativity and most importantly fun throughout their travels.
The game is simple; if you find a sock monster please register it as found by adding to the “story so far” section of their file, feel free to upload images as well as text (If you are unclear check out Priscilla’s file, she’s been up and running the longest). The only request is that you do not allow the sock monster to become static, they do not thrive in captivity and work best when taken out to interact with the world.
Please retain ownership of the monster for as long as you are happy to continue to update us on their progress; if the monster becomes a burden to you, or you no longer wish to participate please place the monster in a similar locale to where you discovered it or pass it onto a friend or colleague who has expressed an interest in hosting a monster and log this action as your last posting on the monsters file.

The monsters are made of recycled socks and new materials are always welcome, if you wish to contribute to the project in this way please contact the Wooly Warrior. All socks are welcomed; old, mismatched and holey all we ask is that they are clean.

As stated before some of the features of this site require that a User Account is created. This includes the Story so Far section. To upload images a User Account is required, This is to prevent spam appearing on the site.
When uploading, it is important to upload your images to the correct Album, identified by the Sockmonsters name.
